About Salt & Stone

Hi, I’m Stella.

I began working in hospitality in high school and quickly realized it was more than just a job — it was something I genuinely loved. What started behind host stands and service counters evolved into bartending in 2016, and from there, it became a passport to the world.

Over the years, bartending has taken me seasonally to Florida, Wyoming, the Highlands of North Carolina, Belgium, Germany, and eventually to Maine. I’ve worked in high-volume waterfront restaurants, luxury hotels, ski resorts, and destination venues — serving guests from all walks of life and learning how to adapt to every kind of celebration.

In 2023, I came to Mount Desert Island and fell in love with the Maine coast. What was meant to be another seasonal stop became home. I’m now proud to be a year-round member of this community.

Alongside my years in hospitality, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Maine at Presque Isle. My passion for bartending paired with my drive to build and manage something of my own made Salt & Stone the perfect venture — blending elevated service with thoughtful structure and organization.

Bartending has always been about more than drinks for me. It’s about creating atmosphere, reading a room, anticipating needs, and making people feel genuinely taken care of. After years of working in fast-paced, high-expectation environments, I wanted to create a mobile bartending company rooted in professionalism, clarity, and seamless execution.

Salt & Stone was built with intention. I’ve carefully assembled and trained a team of skilled bartenders who share the same standards I hold for myself — attentive service, clean presentation, efficiency, and genuine care for every guest interaction. Each member of our team has been selected not only for experience, but for professionalism and pride in their craft.

Our goal is simple: deliver a seamless, elevated bar experience so you can focus on celebrating.
